Hop Project #48 bottled 2nd week April

For this puppy, we used Columbus, Warrior, and Chinook for bittering; Hallertaur, Citra, and Amarillo for flavor at 30 minutes; Hallertaur, Citra, and Amarillo at 5 min; and dryhopped with Amarillo and Centennial.

That better be arriving in Knoxville. We've very much enjoyed almost 2mo of 3rd Week in Feb (seriously) but new Hop Project is required now.

Please, give us some more info about the new hop project brews. In the older blogs you told us about the process, and you even gave us your impressions of the batch. We hopheads need more than just hop variety names and times... Put as much love into your blog as you put into your beer.

I was pumped to see #48 on the store shelves in Knoxville yesterday afternoon (Tuesday). Anonymous...it was in stock at the Kroger on Kingston Pike, closest to UT's campus. Also Bearden Beer Market has it, I'm sure.

The finish to this one is interesting. Almost a cinnamony, mapley spice note to it. There's not much citrus in it, by my tasting.

As with all the Hop Projects, it's very good. I wouldn't call this one my all-time favorite, but Hop Project continues to be my favorite beer outside of Dogfish Head's IPAs. Great work, Linus and Team Yazoo!
