#65 Hop Project bottled 5/3 - lots of Columbus, Horizon, and Cluster hops

The next version of Hop Project is being bottled today. We used a mix of Horizon, Columbus, and Cluster hops throughout, including dryhopping in the fermenter.   Cluster is an old hop, that was once the most widely used hop in American beer.  It has a distinctive aroma and flavor - reminds me of English candy for some reason.

This is the first try at a Hop Project recipe for Ryan, one of our newer brewers.  Stop by the taproom and see how he did, or look for this batch in your favorite store!

What happened to going back to NZ hops? Also, would of loved to smell/taste more columbus in this one, but it is very drinkable.

I didn't find it at Discount over on Church St. Monday so I had to settle for #64. Dang!

Had for the first time last night at the taproom. I've really liked most of the HPs lately, and this one is no exception...

Great hoppy beer! I am in St. Louis and thanks to a friend, who visited Nashville last week I am savoring every sip! Thank you Yazoo Brew you've made our Mother's Day celebration even better!

An excellent brew. Hats off, or should I say, caps off to Ryan for this one. Excellent aroma!
